Nehemiah 8:10.

In our last flight, we started a very beautiful series. And I know you enjoyed the episode then. In case you missed the flight, we gaatchhuu. My amazing cabin crew saved that up for you here.

Today’s episode is glorious. You will enjoy every bit in the flight and definitely come back in the next one. Do you remember I told you that I have been travelling so much lately? Did I mention that I have been learning from great people in the different places I have been to as well as experiencing wonderful stuff? Well, now you know.

What you will be listening to today is an experience I had when I visited this Great Country in Africa. Have you been to Kenya? If you haven’t visited this country then maybe…just maybe you should.

The diverse country is home to all five of the Big 5 (hint hint: 🦏🐃🦁🐆🐘). Do I say of the Great Wildebeest Migration? This land has brought forth the World record-breaking athletes. For great safari destinations, Kenya is the place to go to.

This country has gifted the world with the most excellent and influential Men and Women. Lemme tell you about the one I was priviledged to sit next to and listen as he spoke magnificient wisdom.

Born and raised in a village whose coordinates are not even in the world maps, this great Man is now the founder of PendoDaima. His parents separated when he was seven years old. He went on to live with his mum who had to move to the city to look for a job so as to raise some income enough to cater for the needs of the family.

These are not the kind of transitions suitable for any one, not even a seven year old. He, together with his siblings transfered schools. This meant that they were to interact now with a different people. They also had to adapt to living in a big city which was really a huge contrast with living in a village.

Classwork was not at all enjoyable to Him. At eight years old, he dropped out, in the excuse that he was willing to help his mum cater for the family needs. He walked from one organization to another looking for a job, but not even one allowed him to step into their premises. Well, he was very young to be found working in such organizations.

After a while, he met a certain gentleman who sold to him a kinda idea. Lets call it a deal. Too good a deal that was! Do you know what they say about ‘too good a deal’? Yes, when the deal is too good, think twice.

Oh poor boy. There was no going back now. He had committed his life and vowed to faithfully serve this man. Little did he know that this man was the leader of the dangerous thug group in town. He joined the rest of the group members and was initiated and oriented.

He was officially a member and everyday he would join them in their errands. They would break into banks, rob people in the streets, waylaid and even strangled some. The group was so much sought for by the police. When one of them was arrested, part of what they had sworn was that they would remain silent about the operations of the group and it was so.

Three years passed and nothing was working for his good. What he thought would result to a day’s sustenance had suspended a lot in his life including his academics. Instead of being the bread winner he had longed for, he had been won over and was bred to be a dangerous man in the society. His life had became miserable. He loved not even a bit of it.

In his heart of hearts, he had a million and one questions but no one could answer them. There was a void that he felt in him, and he did not know what would really fill it up. It was at this time that he decided to search all over. Yes, to search for answers, search for what could fill the void. Search for the real solution.

In those days, he had seen many posters and adverts in town about a mega crusade that was to happen in a few weeks time. He did not understand why many people were excited about the same. He had not attended any crusade before. This ‘Jesus Thing’ that excites many didn’t sit well with him. He had heard that ‘Jesus loves people’ but he did not see himself fit for this love. All he could think of was how bad he was for this Jesus.

However, there was a stirring in his heart that did not allow the thought of the crusade to escape his mind. He went on to search about the details of the Man of God he had seen on posters. What he found out caused him to understand the reason many were excited.

The Man of God was a well known Evangelist to the nations of the world. In his meetings , many signs and wonders were recorded. Thousands of people were healed of even chronic diseases, many received the very gift of salvation. He read testimonies of people who had attended the meetings of this man and how their lives had been transformed since then. He knew that there was no way he was going to miss this.

He purposed to attend the crusade, so he would atleast see whether all that was said and written was true. He also knew that if this was true, then his life was about to change for the rest of eternity. The few weeks became a few days and the few days were now hours to the crusade. He was there on time. A great multitude had gathered.

The Great Evangelist stood to minister and truly, there was something about the atmosphere he carried. When he began to speak, his message was in a very simple form, but there was indeed a great demonstration of the Spirit and of the power of God.

Good afternoon excellent people of this great nation?
Today we are gathered here for one reason. To know Jesus Christ, and Him Crucified. Yes, Jesus Christ was delivered up for our offences and raised because of our justification.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is how God demonstrated His Love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Behold the great manner of Love that God lavished upon us. That while we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Now, salvation has been availed for every one who believes in Jesus. Anyone and everyone who believes that God raised Jesus from the dead.

That is the reason we are gathered here today. I am here to tell you brother, that you are already accepted on the beloved. You don’t have to try so you can please God. He is already pleased with you and in you. You are Dad God’s best.

You see, His great love is what He has loved you with. And now and forever, you should expect Love, Love and more Love.

Once you are born again, you are in Christ. There is therefore now no condemnation for you. JESUS PAID IT ALL ON THE CROSS.

Jesus is all you need for life and godliness. He is the answer to every question you have. Jesus is the fullness that will fill that void in your heart. Receive this Jesus today.

You are fit for the love of God. You are the one He loves. You are qualified for salavation. Yes, it is you that I am here for.

At this moment as the minister continued, his words pierced his heart and all he wanted was this Jesus. When the altar call was made, he moved to the front. He was led in confession. He confessed with his mouth the Lord Jesus and believed fully in his heart that God raised Him from the dead. At that moment he was saved and a peace unexplainable overwhelmed his heart. He knew that he had found what he was seeking for.

On this day, this great man received the greatest gift in his life and the solutions he needed. His life changed for the good. He joined a church where he was taught the Word of God – the Word of His Grace. He knew the love of God and this revolutionized his life.

He went back to school. Since there was a wisdom and understanding he showed, he skipped some classes. As a result, he was ahead of his peers. He excelled in everything he did. All he touched prospered. He obtained so much favour with God and men.

Later on in life, he founded PendoDaima which is now a platform where people experience the very love of God. Through this organization, many have been fed, clothed and sheltered. This has also created employement for thousands of citizens and is now the world’s leading charity organization.

Ladies and Gentlemen, that is the story of His Excellency, Honourable John Pendo. Maybe you wonder why PendoDaima. It is because God has loved us unconditionally with a steadfast love. God loves us unto eternity. Daily, we expect Love, Love and more Love. LOVED UNTO ETERNITY.
