Joy

Wait! Do you have happiness in your basket?

Hey😃. I am glad you just smiled. And now, see, you can hardly put your lips as they were before…you know what… stop holding back the laughter😂…let it out…that’s what the world wants. That’s what the world needs. Bursts of laughter in the air. There is a freshness that  is brought about by laughter. A sense of restfulness and peace that is unexplainable.

Does it ever occur to you at times that you want to laugh? Maybe you just remembered a past instance or a ‘joke’ you shared with a friend. During such times we take in every possible breathe so that, well, no moment escapes. And that’s how it should always be. ‘You think it’s that easy?‘…’Why would anyone smile or laugh when they have no reason to be happy?’… and other excuses we all try to give when we ain’t happy.

It is very easy to fall into a trap when you do not know that there is one ahead. Who would do that? Who would go right ahead and hurt themselves on that rock when they see it. You remember the mice traps? Do you think those mice get trapped because they want to? No! It’s because they don’t know. Am I in any way saying that you are a mouse? Absolutely not! You are the most beautiful and wonderful creation that’s ever existed in the universe. You are a work of art(masterpiece, one of a kind) You are God’s best and He loves you. Don’t forget that!…

Contentment is an important key to true happiness. But how will you be content when you are not even sure of what you already have or who you are? And by what standards do you measure what you have or who you are? First things first. God created you and me. God created us. And like everyone who manufactures any product, God has given us a manual that describes everything we ever need to know about us not excluding our purpose. This manual is His Word. So who does the Word say you are? That is who you are. What does the Word say you are capable of? That’s exactly what you can do. Let’s look right into what God’s Word says:

His Word says that:

  • You are loved. God loves you unconditionally with an everlasting love.
  • You are forgiven. Christ bore ALL trespasses and sin in His body. He was bruised and took it all to the cross. And now…you are free.
  • You are blessed with everything that you need for life and godliness.
  • You are highly favored.
  • You are complete in Christ Jesus.
  • You are well able, you can do ALL things through Christ who is your strength.
  • You are an overcomer because whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world.
  • You are WHO GOD SAYS YOU ARE, as it is written in His Word.

This is just a glimpse of what the Word say. There is still so much more.

Christ has already set you free, for freedom. Walk in this freeedom. Be courageous. Be happy.

Would you not be happy when somebody pays all the bills you were unable to pay, because they love you and want you to enjoy the best in life? By paying the bills they ensure that you stop hiding from the landlord or that shopkeeper. You become free and start living in freedom. Now, because Christ has already set you free, free from all your past, free from all addictions, free from pain and suffering, free from guilt…you ought to start living in the freedom. Walk like you are free. Talk like you are free. Think like you are free. Do not fear a thing! Let this freedom be your way of life. For with freedom, happiness finds it’s way.

Be happy😀:that’s all that matters

Remember that God delights in every detail of your life. He is with you every step of the way. He is there to cheer you up and rejoice with you in your every victory, genuinely. I love it how a certain man of God says that God is concerned by and with everything that concerns you. From that one strand of your hair that falls off to that tiny toe that’s hit all the time and even that fingernail that accidentally got cut. He pays keen attention to everything that happens in your life. God wants the best for you. He sure does. See, why you should be happy, smiling and laughing all the way, as you enjoy freedom in Christ?

The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.

Psalm 37:23 NLT
It’s all a matter of choice.

Make a decision to be happy regardless of that circumstance or situation that’s weighing you down. See the good in every thing and chances are you’ll have more reasons to be happy. Remind yourself that the Word of God is true and that He will ensure that He fulfills everything He has promised to you, by His Word. Why? Because He loves you.

Choose happiness. You have more than enough reasons to be happy, and hapiness is the best gift you can ever share with anyone.
