You are more than a conqueror!

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Romans 8:35-37 KJV.

What a life!

Hello! Did you read that? Did you see what I just saw? You are more than a conqueror, through Christ, who loved us and who loves us…you are more than a conqueror, irrespective of the season. You always win! You overcome! You are victorious!

You must be wondering who a conqueror
is or what it means to be more than a
conqueror. Let's see what Joyce
Meyer says:

What does it mean to be more than a conquerer?

To be more than a conqueror means that before you ever get a problem, you already know that whatever problem comes your way, you can overcome it through Christ. You live with confidence that God loves you no matter what and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

And when you have this kind of relationship with Christ, you aren’t constantly afraid of bad news or of things that may happen that aren’t in your plan. When the unexpected happens or you’re disappointed, you won’t be devastated by it.

See, when you get a revelation of who you are in Christ, you know that with Christ on the inside of you, there is nothing that can happen that’s more than you are because there’s nothing that’s too much for Him!

Who are you, IN CHRIST?

Understanding our identity is one of the best thing that ever happens to us, in our lives. It is one of the best things I am grateful for, in my life. Imagine how easy it is for an artist to paint when they know that they can paint and already have the picture in their head. In their painting, they bring out the best piece of art.

This is just how easy it is for you to live and operate when you understand and are fully aware of who you are and what you can do. So, who are you?

Once you are born again and have Christ as the Lord and Savior in and of your life, you are IN CHRIST. You live your life IN CHRIST and get your identity in Him, through His Word. God’s Word becomes your validation. Do you know who God says you are?

And of course in His Word!

  • Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new(2Corinthians 5:17)

When a house is new, it means that the same didn’t have any past. It is also true for anyone in Christ. Their past failures and mistakes no longer define them. Everything about them becomes new because Christ’s death on the cross already dealt with their past.

  • Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

Victory becomes your way of life. You live the more than a conqueror life. This is because you are in Christ and Christ is in you(Colossians 1:27), and Christ in you is greater than he that is in the world.

There is yet more that the Word says about your identity in Christ. Get the Word of God and see what He says about you. Do not let anything apart from what God says about you in His Word define you. Choose to live in the truth. Walk also in the Light of Christ. Live in the freedom Christ already freed you into.

Well, maybe so much has happened in your life already. You’ve faced many disappointments, discouragement, rejections or even disapprovals. You are in fact wondering if you still are more than a conqueror. Yes you are! You are who God says you are!

There is nothing that will ever stop the love of God in your life. It is through this love that we are more than conquerors. We don’t have to struggle to live the more than conqueror’s life. Christ, through His death already achieved victory for us, when He resurrected and conquered death. Rest in what Christ already did for you.

You are victorious!

Remember what we said, that, you are IN CHRIST when you are born again…

As long as you’ve not yet made a decision to have Christ as your saviour, then you will not experience the Love of God. By His grace, God has already done everything to provide salvation. Your part is simply to believe and receive.

Pray out loud: Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Savior. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me.

Congratulations and Welcome home!

Choose to live your life now just like who you are. Live like the more than a conqueror you are. Always live in the consciousness that God loves you and that there is nothing that will ever separate you from the Love of Christ.
