Joy

The How we live is by Choosing JOY!

Joy! Joy! Joy!

Hey! Welcome back! You remember our daily dosage? The one we’ll forever take no matter what goes on around us or in our lives? Our never-missing ingredient in all our recipes? Smile! Cheer up! Be happy! Choose joy! Let this joy flow in you! Let joy move you, because this joy, which is of the Lord, is your strength!

Despite all that is happening in the world today, choosing joy should be our only way to go! Cheering up is the only option left! Well, maybe you wondering how this is all possible or why you have to choose joy when all you receive are bad reports? Worry no more! Let’s see how this is very possible.

Most of us have reasons, which are excuses as to why we are unhappy most of the time. Some of the excuses include how everything we try out is always failing or how everyone that mattered most in our lives has left us or how no one is ever pleased with anything that we do. Clearly, that is looking for joy in the wrong places.

Waiting for that promotion in your job so that you will be happy is not the solution. This is because we all know that every next level of life brings about more responsibilities. Waiting until there is someone else in your life, a friend or a spouse, won’t give you this joy, because you will have to be accountable. This joy is not found in things or from people.

This joy is in you. You don’t have to work to earn this joy. No! Look right inside you and see this joy(I know you just checked past your t-shirt/blouse, which is okay). This joy radiates from within you, illuminating all that’s around you. How is this possible when you don’t love yourself or you don’t even know who you are?

You are who God says you are! You are who God’s word tells you! He calls you His beloved and His redeemed. He created you in His image and likeness. This means that you are as He is. He created us for a purpose. He created us for good works.

“God never made a piece of junk! He never made an inferior person. We are all special. We are unique. We can do something that nobody else can. We all have something that God wants to accomplish through us.”

Andrew Wommack

When you already know who you are, you will be happy with who you are. You will be content with what you have. As a result, the very joy in your heart will overflow to all that’s around you and the people around you will experience this joy. All of nature will rejoice.

Hello, you still here! It’s story time… When Adam and Eve disobeyed, sin entered the world. Everybody, the young and old, who came after Adam, was a sinner. Sin brought death, and death spread to everyone. Adam’s sin brought condemnation.

But God, who is love, loved the world so much that He gave us His only begotten Son, Jesus(God’s gracious gift), so that whoever believes in Him will never perish but have eternal life. Christ brought forgiveness. He brought freedom. There is therefore now no condemnation for everyone who is in Christ Jesus.

Choose joy because Christ endured it all for you …who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God(Hebrews 12:2 KJV). He already overcome. Victory is all yours! Choose joy because Christ has already set you free and now you are free indeed.

It is however sad that not everyone enjoys this freedom and victory because they have not yet received Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Receive Jesus as your Savior…

Choosing to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the most important decision you’ll ever make!

God’s Word promises, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9,10).

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).
By His grace, God has already done everything to provide salvation. Your part is simply to believe and receive.

Pray out loud: Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Savior. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me.

Congratulations!

I am glad you just made the best and most important decision you will ever make in your life. Believing and receiving Christ as your Lord and Savior.
