Love

A LOVE that is CHANGE.

Do you ever look at the world around you (your homestead, county, country or continent) and the only word that you think of is change? A change in the quality of life of the people, a change in the quality of infrastructure, a change in governance or whatever positive change you ever think of. A change, for the betterment of our community, the world. That’s great. Together we will make this place an awesome place to live in. Then at the end of it all, we will be glad to say that we made this place better than we found it.

Hello greatness😃. Yes, you are greatness. Do you know why? A change in the world is brought about by greatness. Guess what… because of the greatness you are, you can do all things, through Christ who is your strength. Moreover, you have everything that you need for both life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who has called you to glory and virtue. Awesome🌟. We are going to rise up and make the world the place it should be, for all we need is already availed, right? I know we are ready. Watch this pace now. Let’s go.

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
2 Peter 1:3 KJV

This feels like an athlete’s task. Are you wondering like I am? What entails changing the world? How do I do it? What do I need to change the world? Well, what do you think? Before an athlete goes to compete in any marathon, they believe that they are able to compete. They will ensure that they are in good health and that they are very fit. They look for a coach who is highly qualified. This coach guides them throughout their exercises, giving them any piece of advice that builds them up. The coach gives his best; whatever he has proven and known works best, so that their trainee becomes the best. This is because he understands that the success of their trainee is dependent on him and affects him as well. After he has done his part, he lets the athlete to go and show forth good results in the competition.

What is more satisfying than the feeling that is brought about by victory, the trophy? I am sure you will look back at the number of times you’ve woken up early for those morning runs, to the late afternoon hours you’ve spent running around the track, which is a very good thing because this is the reward of your effort. Do I say of how you will appreciate your coach and everyone who’s seen to it that you have become the best? But above all, do you know how happy and excited the coach is? Just like any teacher whose student becomes the best, the coach has all reasons to be proud.

Guess what? God is that coach. He gives us the best of what is needed to change the world. God causes us to triumph in His name. He avails all that we need for the victory ahead. He works in us causing us to give out the best results. He does this because He loves us unconditionally; there are no terms and conditions in God’s love. Are you sure? Yes! God is love. He loves you just as you are. He has loved you all along, all this time. He still loves you now with an everlasting love. A love that knows no end. There is not even a single thing you’ve done that makes Him afraid of you.

God is not intimidated by anything that you’ve done. Your story does not disappoint Him or push Him away. God’s love for you is unstoppable. You remember the feared persecutor, Saul? See the number of people he had persecuted and killed. Yet that did not stop the Love of God towards him. God’s love and kindness drew Saul to repentance and he became Paul, who wrote epistles  we read till today and are greatly blessed. God changed Saul’s story and He used him mightly to change the world. He is still the same God, now, for He is unchanging. God is able to change your story and use you in a mighty way to change the world.

It does not matter the pit you’ve fallen into. He is able to pick you up, out of the miry clay. He is able to set your feet upon a rock, a steady ground and establish all your goings. Always remember that there is nothing that He can’t do. He levels mountains. He makes streams flow in the desert and brings shade where the sun is scorching. He makes a way where none exists, He parted the Red Sea. He will always light up the way ahead, for He is able. Believe in Him and trust Him. Have your faith in Him alone, not wavering at all, for He who promised, by His Word, will fulfill it, for He is faithful. Knowing this, we will rise together, like an edifice and shine His very light into the world. This light will illuminate the dark, resulting to the change we’ve wanted to see.
